Golf Cart Detailing

Never Thought About Detailing Your Golf Cart?

Many people look at me funny when I say that we also detail golf carts, and though it may seem a bit different, there actually is a large market for golf cart detailing. Many people who live in golf cart friendly neighborhoods are looking for a way to get there golf cart cleaned up without doing it themselves, and if that is you, then you are in the right place! Golf carts are just like any other vehicle, over time they collect dirt, grease, and grime, and if you want to extend the life span of that kind of investment, then getting it detailed is extremely important!

WHAT DOES a golf cart detail include?

Detailing a golf cart is normally not something that takes very much time or energy, as they are not something that collect a ton of dirt, or even something that is driven all that often, so for that reason, golf cart detailing is pretty simple. A full detail is going to include:

  • Full wash of all exterior surfaces followed with a premium synthetic sealant application

  • Leather seat cleaning/conditioning/protectant application

  • Full steam cleaning of steering wheel, cup holders, pedals, etc...

  • Tire/Wheel well degreasing & detail, followed with a tire dressing application

“Under The Hood Detailing”

As a rule, we do not detail the engine/battery compartment of the golf carts we detail. For the most part, this is simply for safety and liability reasons. Golf Cart electrical and engine components are not the same as a standard car, and for that reason, we see it better to leave that area to the professionals who specialize in that area. Many golf carts are electric, and cannot be exposed to water (in the engine area), so our opinion, it is wiser to simply stay away from that area all together, for everyone's sake.

Pricing:

For the most part, golf cart detail pricing is going to remain very uniform across the board, however there are golf carts that do not match the average golf cart description and build, so there will some variance in pricing with certain situations.

Full Golf Cart Detail (Regular Size): $145

Smoke Removal

This is more than likely obvious, but smoke removal takes more time, attention, effort, and product to accomplish than an ordinary detailing job. This is simply because the materials on the interior of cars i.e. cloth seats, leather seats, rubbers, carpets, etc... are perfect landing pads for tar, smoke smells, and everything else that smoking brings. Many detailers attempt to do smoke removal, and while the smell may be gone for a month, it inevitably comes back, leaving customers extremely disappointed. Luckily this is an area where we have done extensive research, and have a lot of experience. I can confidently tell my clients that after we are finished, the smoke smell will not only be removed, but it will never come back! Here is a short overview of the smoke removal process:

  1. Degrease entire interior chemically including carpets, leather, all hard surfaces, windows, seatbelts, etc...

  2. Steam clean all interior surfaces and materials

  3. Steam and blow out all air vents

  4. Degrease & Steam headliner

  5. Water extract all cloth and carpet surfaces

  6. Treat all cloth and carpeted surfaces with permanent smoke removal solutions

  7. OZONE generator treatment

  8. Air freshener treatment through all air vents to clear out any chemical smells

  9. Install new cabin air filter (Additional charge)

Smoke Removal Prices

Because every job is different, there is no one size fits all price for smoke removal jobs. While some people smoke once a week in their cars, others smoke every day, and of course this dramatically changes the process for a detailer like myself when it comes to restoring the car to "before smoke" conditions. Pricing starts out at $125 and will vary slightly based on condition of the vehicle. Please contact us for exact pricing on this service.

Things You need to know

Because smoke travels to every area of the car... and I mean EVERY area, there is one problem area that you as the customer will have to address to ensure that the smoke smell does not come back. With smoke blowing through the air vents, and filters, the cabin air filter will desperately need to be replaced. This is simply because it is absolutely coated in smoke smell, and even we tear apart your car in order to remove the smoke smell, if the cabin air filter is not replaced, that smoke smell will blow through all of the air vents again, filling the newly detailed car full of that horrible smoke smell yet again. We can replace your cabin air filter for you for an additional charge of $45. Otherwise this can be done at most oil change or mechanical facilities.
